History

The Common Man Games was first was conceived during the 2004 Sydney Olympics, whereby a group of mates took part in a heated exchange of alcohol induced former glory stories. To settle the banter once and for all and find out who really deserved the title of “bloody legend”, a unique challenge was soon discovered.

To accommodate the obvious decline in physical fitness across the board, the decision was made to create a unique decathlon of pub-sports specifically designed to test a blend of a competitor’s skill, stamina and just pure darned luck.

The Commonman Games was born.
